| Celtic Equestrian was developed in August 2004 by the current owners Gary Jones and Catherine Moulder-Jones. The shop is based in a small village north of Aberystwyth, in mid-west Wales. Celtic Equestrian started its life being called Talybont Pharmacy and Pets. This was due to to premises having been a retail pharmacy for the last 50 years. In recent years the basic pharmacy had developed into the household pet market stocking everything from hamster cages to sacks of dog food. As the shop is based in a very rural `horsey` area it soon became apparent that there was a desperate need for a local equestrian supplies shop. The range has grown dramatically since we opened the doors and we pride our selves on having a great selection of products for horse and rider at competitive prices. All our staff are very helpful and knowledgable, all being horse owners that compete and generally live for horses. We have developed the Celtic Equestrian web site to meet the demands of customers that live too far away to come and visit us but still deserve the personal, quality service that all our local customers have come to expect from us.
